On May 24, 2567, representatives from the Community College of Economics and Technology, Asia Community College (adiCET), Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wattanapong Rakwichian adiCET advisor, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hathaithip Sintuya Dean of adiCET, Asst. Prof. Dr. Worajit Setthapun, and Enova Integration Co., Ltd., represented by Mr.Noppachai Thiratitsakun, Chairman of the Board of Directors, jointly awarded scholarships to personnel from Electricite Du Laos (EdL), the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Vilaphorn Visounnarath, Deputy Managing Director of EdL, received 2 scholarships for Master’s degree programs in the Bachelor of Science in Energy and Environmental Community Studies at the 4th-floor meeting room of EDL-Generation Public Company.
On this occasion, representatives from both parties also participated in discussions and exchanged academic experiences related to Smart Grid and Prosumer Community Microgrid networks. They cooperated to develop cross-border collaboration and knowledge transfer, particularly focusing on human resource development, which is the primary driver of sustainable electricity production systems in Laos, considered a significant clean energy producer in the current ASEAN context.
